I brought sexy back!

I brought sexy back!

This was such a fantastic event and even better because I got full befefits at a discounted price.

If you've never been to one of these, I highly recommend it. Firstly if you haven't already, join www.goldstarevents.com. I got my ticket to this event for $15 which included the same benefits of a full priced ticket. Goodie bag, Open bar, and ofcourse 5 hours of heavanly shopping!

The goodie bag's reputation preceeds itself. As I read on here it's pretty lame. This event included the scrunchies, hair products, a heinous beaded necklace, some books and an awful candy dish. Not to mention - a stupid book on plastic surgery. Yeah nice, make women feel even more selfconcious about their bodies. Thumbs up the bag itself was kind of cute, thumbs down the bag weighed about 20 lbs and it's contents sucked ass!

Goodie bag aside I felt the product was great and all the vendors offered an extra discount than what they were already required to give. 5 of my favorite vendors included a girl right by the Goodie bag area that had some killer rings and earrings - kind of expensive but worth it b/c her pieces were one of a kiind, a girl directly behind her that had really cute tank dress thingy's, not to mention she probably offered the best and most reasonable prices, a Japenese girl who made some beautiful customized jewelry and handbags (towards the front), the only shoe vendor from Brazil that had some of the most comfortable heels I've even worn. Note I'm a shoe whore - so these could have pinched the hell out of my feet I would have bought them. But truley it was like walking on clouds - very soft and comy for heels. She was kind of expensive but can be talked down. Oh and before I forget, around the corner from the Japenese girl was this cool pocketbook vendor - she had really nice product and these really cute handmade wristlets fr $20. A good buy. Just becareul with her because she can't add very well and undercharged, then overcharged, then correctly charged me.

All vendors took credit cards, so don't worry if you don't have time to stop at a cash machine.

Too much makeup? There is no such thing!

Lots of fun vendors, intersting items, free drinks, AND an awesome goodie bag! This was well worth the price and trip into Boston. There is no food, however, so eat before you arrive so you can enjoy the free liquor. And be sure to wear light clothing and your walking shoes!

Can't wait for November's Girls Night Out! See you there!

Just fun.....lots of unusual items to buy, though some prices were way out of line. one seller was also quite rude to some people standing next to us. one thought - they have lots of wine and midori - and NOTHING to eat. cheese and crackers? veggie platter......SOMETHING!
