Found it to be in poor taste and very poor quality items.
I was very disappointed with this event. I showed up a bit late and when I arrived they were closing down early. One vendor said that there wasn't a good turn out. The swag bag was nothing more than a few pieces of candy and small body wash, all from 99 cent store. I couldn't find the organizer to check in, and after looking for her for half an hour, she was trying on vendor jeans. I was looking forward to this, but definitely, would not recommend this to other GoldStar members.
The merchandise was disappointing, and there were no customers there. The tall Santa Claus guy wearing white tanks (which disappeard at one point) and had his Joe Boxers hanging out the top of his jeans. The VIP gift bags were a cheap joke.
This was definitely not the best sales event I've been to. The prices really were not that great. I've been to other sales that don't charge and are better. Unfortunately they're in LA.
It was ok for my first time, but like the other reader I was expecting more gifty items in lieu of just clothes.
I went with two girlfriends, it started 30 mins. late, we paid 13.00 $ to get in at 10:30AM, not 11:00AM, it was way to dark to see anything they were selling, the clothes, etc. were all the same young age group, The little give away bags were a joke. it was just a waste of 13.00$.
What made this event fun was going with my girlfriends. I bought a couple of items that were REALLY cute, but I'm sure I could have found these pieces at my local retail stores. The dresses I bought were somewhat reasonably priced, but some of the other pieces I saw were RIDICULOUSLY priced. All in all, it was just "OK" (Very pleased that they had a bar though!)
They did not open the doors ontime, so those of us that paid extra for "VIP entrance" did not get the full hour we were paying for. The deals and discounts were also not as good as when I attended 3 years ago. Overall, I found some good things, but it was primarily clothing and I hoped there would be more gift-appropriate products.
