The Awesome 80s Prom is an interactive show in the style of Tony n' Tina's Wedding, set at Wanaget High's 1989 Senior Prom -- this time with a Halloween theme. Favorite characters from '80s movies--the captain of the football team, the geek, the hot cheerleader--compete to be Prom King and Queen. Including a costume contest for cash prizes and concert tickets, an 80s sountrack with a Halloween theme, and a "thriller" of a performance by a special guest star.

It was a great blast from the past type of event with great 80's music. A lot of fun. Definitely recommend it to anyone who either grew up in the 1980's or like that era of music.
Built in 1886, designed by renowned architect Charles Rentz, Webster Hall was described as the "Jewel of the Village" by Eugene O'Neil. It was where the original bohemians, like Emma Goldman, Marcel DuChamp and Margaret Sangor, created unique costume balls to benefit nascent social and political causes.

The Awesome 80s Prom is going to celebrate those awesome 80s horror flicks with a special Halloween Prom at Webster Hall in New York City.
This special Prom will include a costume contest with cash prizes and concert tickets, a brand new 80s soundtrack with a Halloween theme, a "Thriller" of a performance by a special guest star and more!
The Awesome 80s Prom is a brand-new blast-from-the-past party in the style of Tony 'n Tina's Wedding and The Donkey Show, set at Wanaget High's Senior Prom...in 1989! All your favorite characters from your favorite '80s movies are at the prom, from the Captain of the Football Team to the Asian Exchange Student, from the Geek to the hottie Head Cheerleader, and they're all competing for Prom King and Queen. And just like on American Idol, the audience decides who wins, all while moonwalking to retro hits like "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" and "Wake Me Up Before You Go Go!" Come "Back In Time," to quote a Huey Lewis tune, and join the breakdance circle or just sit back and watch the '80s drama unfold. Come on, you know you have a Members Only jacket somewhere...
