Merrily We Roll Along on Broadway Tickets

It started out like a song… and now Merrily We Roll Along is back on Broadway in a starry revival with Jonathan Groff, Daniel Radcliffe, and Lindsay Mendez. This cult favorite, beloved musical with sweeping songs by legendary composer Stephen Sondheim and a book by George Furth has its first Broadway revival at the Hudson Theatre.

Spanning three decades and dissecting the joys and difficulties of the entertainment business, the Broadway musical Merrily We Roll Along charts the turbulent relationship between composer Franklin Shepard (Groff) and his two longtime friends: theatre critic Mary (Mendez) and lyricist/playwright Charley (Radcliffe).

Featuring some of Stephen Sondheim’s most celebrated and intimate songs, Merrily We Roll Along comes back to thrilling life in Maria Friedman’s production. The Broadway transfer follows a sold-out, extended run off Broadway at New York Theatre Workshop. “It’s a hit!” The New York Times wrote. “The show’s central trio is perfectly cast.”
